Holly Bryant

Holly has been an attorney for eighteen years with a career in and for the military and government. She is obligated to tell you her views are her own and do not represent those of her employer or the U.S. government. Her undergraduate degree in English and her law degree are from the College of William and Mary. Holly is also a mother of two and a lifelong bookworm, which is her most enduring trait. She began reviewing anti-racism books for accountability on her own unlearning in 2020 and looks forward to sharing books with VXM readers. Holly loves staying home in Virginia with her family, her two crazy rescue dogs, her plants, and her collections of books and shoes.

Rachel Loughlin

Rachel is a graphic designer and writer making a difference in Richmond, Virginia. Believing that, "everyone deserves beauty," she is a member of Arts in the Alley, a mural painting non-profit, and Ginter Urban Gardeners. She recently received a grant to establish a seed library in conjunction with the local elementary school's urban garden as a way for the community to share resources and preserve seeds. An outspoken advocate for special needs children in the city's public schools, Rachel was appointed by the governor to the Virginia Board for People with Disabilities in 2016. Rachel is dedicated to helping others tell their stories because, "finding the courage to tell a story, can change the ending." David Weatherspoon

David is an ordained minister currently serving as a chaplain at Methodist Le Bonheur Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Before returning home to Tennessee, David was the Campus Minister at Franklin College in Indiana where he developed a curriculum on non-violence and co-authored the book, "The Peace Class: A Study of Effective Cheek-Turning, Neighbor Loving, and Sword-to-Plowshare Conversion." Caring for neighbor is the cornerstone of his faith and work, whether that neighbor is in Memphis where David recently ran for state senate, or a protestor at the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota. He is currently pursuing his DMin. in Justice and Peacemaking at Mercer University.
