Something we look forward to every year as a congregation is the staging of a multilingual choral reading of the coming of the Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 2. It’s a chance to celebrate the diversity of our congregation, involve children or youth studying a language at school, or invite members of the community to participate. More about the reading can be found in the post, “Pentecost Multilingual Choral Reading of Acts 2” along with a downloadable example of how we incorporated some of the various languages spoken by the participants at our church in Toronto.

Below, is another version of the script, this time with the names of the various languages replaced with “Speaker 1”, “Speaker 2” etc. so that you can assign these roles to speakers of whatever languages will be taking part in your choral reading.

The downloadable PDF is the entire script.
