The question
Of whether any cherry trees
Around the lake
With the fountain
And the geese
Had bloomed
Was enough
To get me out of bed
And breathing again
I tried asking people
But they didn’t know
I was asking them
To remind me
There would be light again
Leaves again pink flowers
So I took myself to find
The answer to my question
Was:
Not
Yet
These things take time
